The North Jersey Chromatography Group is a topical sub-group of the North Jersey Section of the American Chemical Society.  The NJCG seeks to promote the interaction and education of chromatographers in the greater New Jersey area.

Whether you are a first-year college student or a 30-year veteran of the separation sciences, we invite you to participate in the NJCG's program of promoting chromatography and its related studies.  Join us for our monthly seminars/meetings where we invite speakers from academia, industry, and instrument/technology vendors to present valuable information covering a wide range of studies.  We are also active in larger, local-area symposia such as the Eastern Analytical Symposium (EAS) and the ACS Mid-Atlantic Region Meeting (MARMS) - you may see our name as organizers of focused sessions and poster events.

Our Policy for Presentations

We strive to promote and present purely science-based material during our meetings.  While we understand that instrument and supply vendors need to promote their products and reach as many potential customers as they can, we insist that this not be the forum for such commercially-oriented topics.  We require that all presentations be submitted to the organizing committee for review prior to the meeting date.  The exception to this policy would be if a sponsor is willing to cover the cost of the entire meeting (including food, audio/visual, and speaker travel).  In this event they would be free to present any material as long as it is related to the field of chromatography.

If you have an idea for a seminar, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss it with you.
